Cancellation policy

1. Purpose

At Global Trans Van Lines, we understand that moving plans may need to change abruptly. This policy outlines how you may cancel scheduled moving services as well as timelines, charges, and conditions that apply.

2. How to Cancel

To cancel any booked service, simply submit your cancellation in writing via email: info@globaltransvanlines.com
Please include:

  • Full name
  • Booking or contract number
  • Scheduled moving date
  • Reason for cancellation


3. Cancellation Timelines

Cancellation timelines determine eligibility for refund.

  • Over 10 business days before pickup: Refund of Deposit will be available.
  • Between 10-14 business days before pickup: Partial refund (administrative fee applies).
  • Less than 3 business days prior to pickup: Deposit non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon.

These timelines are based on common practices within the moving industry and allow us to allocate resources more equitably.

4. Rescheduling

Services may be rescheduled free of charge provided they are requested prior to stated deadlines and we have available capacity.

5. Acknowledging Cancellation

All cancellations will only be confirmed once we email a written confirmation to you – keep this document for your records.

6. Exceptions

Under certain emergency conditions (e.g. weather events and legal restrictions), cancellation terms may be amended at our sole discretion.
